READ NB (Laubach Literacy NB) has a provincial board of volunteers. The Board governs the actions and interests of Laubach Literacy NB as a provincial organization and READ NB as a provincial program, determining their strategic direction and priorities, and monitoring their operational finances and activities in relation to the defined strategy.

An Introduction to the New Members of the 2026 Board
 
David MacGowan – a graduate from UNB Accounting, David is a Chartered Professional Accountant and has spent his career working in the Saint John area. He has been with KPMG since 2018 and became a partner in 2023.  
 ​
Ada Poon – Ada has more than 10 years’ experience in the library field in Hong Kong and England, and is currently working as a Research Librarian at Crandall University in Moncton. She is also an online tutor with United for Literacy.
 
Taylor Snow – After spending a few years working with the provincial government, Taylor joined the Moncton Internation Airport Authority as a Business Development Specialist. Her experience includes research, training and analysis, and she is fluently bilingual.
