Bookstravaganza - October 30 - November 1
Strategic Planning - Session - TBD (Oct/Nov)

Strategic Plan 2021-2026 - After a significant amount of stakeholder engagement, which included members from our affiliated councils, our community partners, sponsors and clients, we developed a new strategic plan in 2021.
This provided us with the three Strategic Impacts that we continue to work toward.

Budget 2026/27 (approved May 2026)

Annual Report (2025/26) - as presented at the AGM in June 2026.

Financial Review (2025/26) - as presented at the AGM in June 2026. The Executive Director and Treasurer review and provide all monthly invoices, reports to Doane Grant Thornton. Grant Thornton. At the beginning of April, the accounting firm of Greene CPA reviews all of our annual documentation, asks for clarifications or procedural information that may be needed, and provides an annual review.

By-laws - revised 2022 - our governance committee undertook a review of the bylaws in spring 2022. The revisions were brought to the membership at the Annual General Meeting in June 2022, and approved at that time.

OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE DOCS

LLNB Road Map - The Road Map (to April 2026) shows how our major events/activities are working toward fulfilling those three strategic impacts.
Interim Report to WorkingNB Apr 1 - Dec 31, 2025 - READ NB is required to provide an interim report to WorkingNB in order to qualify for the 2nd instalment (last 10%) of our annual funding. This used to be done at the end of September, but moved to the end of December in 2021. This change allows us to include the large influx of learners we have each autumn and present a more accurate picture of progress. We have since been approved and received our final 10%.
Working NB Funding Request - March 2026 (Approved) - in March of each year, we submit to the provincial government (WorkingNB) a request for annual funding. This funding supports our administrative and program costs, as well as provides grant dollars for us to provide to our councils.
End of Year Learner Report to WorkingNB (April 2026) - The EOY report provides a summary of our activities over the last year, as well as provides the required data (by WorkingNB) regarding our learners. It addition to other data, it shows began with the program, what literacy level they had when they began (if possible) what their level was at their most recent assessment.
Grant Recipient Activities 2025/26 - This short report is provided annually to WorkingNB noting the grants we provided to our affiliated councils, and offering a short description of how those funds were spent by each council.
Use of Funds Reports 2025/26 - This short report is provided to WorkingNB, to provide an outline of how funds were spent over the last year - it closely matches the request from the previous year. The annual report and the reviewed financial statements will be provided to WorkingNB once approved in June 2026.
WorkingNB Funding - Letter of Agreement 2026/27 - This is the letter of agreement we have with WorkingNB, and is based on the Funding Request we submitted to them in March.

LLNB Letters Patent - though Laubach Literacy New Brunswick has been in operation for more than 40 years, our letters of patent were filed for the organization that exists today, in 2001.
