Thank you for your interest in becoming a Book Sale Ambassador! Your enthusiasm helps make our annual Bookstravaganza Used Book Sale the biggest and best it can be, while supporting adult literacy across New Brunswick. There are many ways to volunteer. Some people come and help sort books, or help out at the sale. Over the years we have developed a large roster of volunteers who are experienced with these aspects. We do not have a lot of space for new sale volunteers, but are building a list of 'STAND-BY' volunteers, in case we do have openings on sorting nights or at the sale. |
There is something you can do for us - you can become a Book Sale Ambassador. Ambassadors are champions for literacy who help spread the word about the Bookstravaganza sale. Ambassadors don’t need to be on-site; instead, they:
Time commitment: Flexible—a few hours in the weeks leading up to the sale.
- Promote the sale in their communities and through their social media (use the hashtag bookstravaganza)
- Encourage book donations.
- Invite friends and family to attend.
